The Best Place to Learn

University of Vavuniya as a seat of learning goes back to 1991. In the 1990’s, Affiliated University Colleges (AUCs) were established in all the Provinces of Sri Lanka to provide opportunities for the people of the regions to meet the increasing demand for higher education. In line with that government policy, the Northern Province Affiliated University College (NPAUC) was established in Vavuniya on 20th November 1991 as one of the nine AUCs established in all nine (09) provinces in Sri Lanka.
