As part of an academic exchange program established under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CSIBER and the University of Vavuniya, Er. Dhananjay S. Mali, Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Management, CSIBER and Dr. S. S. Jamsandekar, from the Department of Computer Science and Applications, CSIBER, visited the University of Vavuniya from September 23 to October 21, 2024.

A workshop on “Quality Assurance in Higher Education & Effective Management in Higher Education” was held on October 16th at the Smart Lecture Hall, Faculty of Applied Science. Thirty-one (31) participants attended, engaging with valuable insights and strategies shared by the resource persons to enhance quality standards in higher education and implement effective management practices. The workshop aimed to equip the staff with skills to uphold excellence in both academic and administrative functions, supporting the University of Vavuniya’s goal of establishing itself as a globally competitive institution. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to advancing the quality of higher education in Sri Lanka.
