IEEE MEMBERSHIP DRIVE-2021

The Annual membership awareness session of the University of Vavuniya was organized by the Student Branch of the University of Vavuniya, which was held on the 4th of December.

The event started with a welcome speech of the Chair of the Student Branch and then followed by the Membership Recruitment session of Mr.Mithushan Jalangan who was one of the keynote speakers of the event. Membership benefits and how to join the IEEE Student Branch were shared by the speaker.

Next up on the infotainment session which was a quiz session was conducted via the quiz.com platform. The participants of the event eagerly took part in it. The session included questions regarding the IEEE and student branch activities.

Next Mr.Kovelan Parameswaren who is the other speaker of the event, conveyed his ideas and what benefits he earned by being an IEEEian and discussed how were the initial days of IEEE were at the University of Vavuniya.

Next upon a video documentary was shared, regarding the history of IEEE student branch of the University of Vavuniya.

Next the Secretary of the student branch delivered the Vote of Thanks.

Finally, the event was summed up with a photography session as a memo of the event
