The Support Centre for Persons with Disabilities organized the launching event of the “University Handbook of Disability of the University of Vavuniya” held on 27.03.2024. As a chairperson of the event Prof. T. Mangaleswaran Vice-Chancellor, editor of the book Mr. V. Subramniyam, Coordinator of the SCPD, chief guest of the event Dr. K. Nanthakumaran-Deputy Provincial Director of Health Services (North), Special Guest of the event Dr. M. Malarvan- Consultant eye surgeon, Teaching hospital, Jaffna, distinguished of the book evaluator Mr. K. Kandeepan- Programme Director, Center for Accessibility, Monitoring, and Information on Disability (CAMID), and, Director of SCPD, Members of the SCPD Management committee, Deans of the faculties and students & all staff of the University of Vavuniya participated this event.

The delightful part of the event was the published book on the University of Vavuniya website by the Vice-Chancellor.
