The Workshop on Workshop on “Havoc in Scholarly Communication” (Workshop on “Predatory Journals”) was held on 07th April 2021 from 1.30 pm – 04.30 pm at the Computer Laboratory (ICTL), Faculty of Technology to the Academic Staff of the Vavuniya Campus.
Prof.L.P Jayatissa Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Senior Professor, Department of Botany, University of Ruhuna served as the Resource person for this workshop. Participants gained more knowledge about the Predatory and Fake Journals and Conferences and how to identify them. This workshop enhanced the knowledge of academics and encouraged them to do genuine research publications.
