The Workshop on “Basics of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS” was held on 22nd September 2021 from 09.00 am – 12.30 pm in a virtual platform to the Academic Staff of the University of Vavuniya.
Dr. DMC. Dassanayake, Senior Lecturer and former Head/ Dept.of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka served as the Resource person for this workshop. Participants gained basic knowledge about the basic concepts of PLS-SEM, introduction to SmartPLS software, model specification in SmartPLS, measurement model evaluation and structural model evaluation. The participants gained practical knowledge in this software and the resource person very clearly demonstrated the software and the staff highly appreciated his expertise and actively participated in the session. Academic staff from the University of Jaffna also attended this workshop and enhanced their knowledge.
