Workshop on “Research and Publication” was organized by the Staff Development Centre, University of Vavuniya on 13^th December 2023 from 01.30 pm to 04.30 pm at the Smart Lecture Hall, Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya to Academic Staff and Executive staff. Prof. Mahinda Wijeratne, Senior Professor of Agriculture Economics, Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna served as the resource person for this workshop. participants gained more knowledge about understand the format or layout of a scientific document, ethical considerations in publishing a scientific article and identify a predatory scientific journal. Participants gained more experiential knowledge through the group activities.
