The Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya, is delighted to launch the first issue of volume one of the Vavuniya Journal of Science.

All researchers, academics, scholars, postgraduates, and undergraduates are invited to submit research articles or review papers that match the scope of the Vavuniya Journal of Science to the upcoming issues.

The Vavuniya Journal of Science is a biannual journal publication. However, this journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle of making research freely available to the public and supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. No Article Processing Charge (APC) or page fees will be charged from the authors.  

*The image on the front cover page is the view of the University of Vavuniya entrance from inside the University premises, which symbolically indicates that “There is a long way to go since this is the very first issue of the Vavuniya Jornal of Science.”
