Annual General Meeting 2022

The 5th Annual General Meeting 2022 of IEEE Student Branch University of Vavuniya concluded successfully at University Premises on 13th of October. Prof.T.Mangaleswaran, Vice Chancellor of University of Vavuniya, Mrs.Maithily Thayaparan,Chief Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board, Mr.Ponrajah Sri Puveehan, Engineer at Sri Lanka Telecom, Joined Physically and Prof.Pradeep Abegunawardana Chair of IEEE Sri Lanka Section, Mr.Dammika Marasinghe, Chair of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka Section, Ms.Thihara Mallikarachchi, Vice Chair, Awards and Recognition Sub-Committee joined Virtually as guests of honor.

After Lighting up The Oil Lamp, Welcome Speech was Delivered By Ms.Shorubiga , IEEE Student Branch Counselor University of Vavuniya Minutes of the previous AGM and the annual activity report was presented by the Chair of the student branch. Annual financial report was presented and it was suggested and approved to be true by the audience. Election of the new Executive Committee was conducted by Mrs.Maithily Thayaparan , Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board and newly appointed officers of the student branch chapters were announced. Newly elected and appointed Chairman of the IEEE Student Branch University of Vavuniya delivered his speech and the meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Newly appointed Secretary of the student branch.
