4. Renewal Book

Users are permitted to renew their books before the due date, with a maximum of two renewals allowed per book.

5. GENERAL RULES

  • We look forward to satisfying your thirst for knowledge to the best of our abilities.
  • Please avoid standing in front of or around the reception desk.
  • Silence must be observed at all times inside the library.
  • Switch off your mobile phones upon entering the library.
  • Do not bring briefcases, handbags, file covers, umbrellas, hats, diaries, personal books, or similar items into the library.
  • CR books, exercise books, personal books, and bulk sheets are not permitted inside the library.
  • Please declare all your materials at the counter when entering and leaving the library.
  • Readers are not expected to shelve books; please keep them neatly on the table.
  • Books should not be taken from one section to another.
  • Smoking, consumption of food, and carrying water bottles are strictly prohibited inside the library.
  • Readers must submit their student identity cards, books, and papers for inspection upon request by library staff.
  • Acts of misconduct may result in suspension of library membership.
  • Do not take uncharged books out of the library premises; this is a punishable offense.
  • Charged books should not be brought back into the library except for discharge.
  • Group discussions inside the library are not permitted.
  • Do not leave any valuable articles or cash unattended outside the library. The library is not responsible for any losses.
  • Readers are kindly expected to abide by these rules and regulations. Violation of library rules may lead to cancellation or suspension of library membership. These rules are as effective as the University regulations.

A bound periodical is a collection of individual issues of a serial publication that have been physically compiled and bound together into volumes for preservation and easier reference.
