2nd Anniversary Chess tournament

The 2^nd Anniversary Chess Tournament was held on 1^st August 2023 at the University of Vavuniya to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of the University of Vavuniya. The tournament was conducted for Vavuniya District School children. There were 339 students from different schools who participated in this tournament and got their certificates for participation.

The awarding ceremony for the chess tournament was held on 6^th September 2023, at 02.00 p.m. in the Smart Classroom, Faculty of Technological Studies. The University of Vavuniya awarded trophies and certificates to the Champions, 1^st Runner-up, and 2^nd Runner-up in all 16 participated categories.
