Inter University Karate championship 2024 on 01st to 3rd at Indoor Gymnasium, University of Kelaniya. S.D. Mendis and U.G.I.I. Harshamali was a men and women team captains of our university Karate team. There are 12 men players and 9 women players were selected to participate that match.

- Kumite Men’s 75kg Category – 1st place – S.D.Mendis from University of Vavuniya, He has already won the gold medal previous years. (2022,2023)
- Kumite Men’s – Below 60kg Category – 3rd Place – W.G.V.M. Samarakoon from University of Vavuniya
- Kumite Women’s – Below 50kg Category – 2nd Place – M. Tharsayani from University of Vavuniya
