IEEEXtreme 13.0

The IEEEXtreme 13.0 – 24 hours global programming competition was organized by the IEEE Student Branch at Inner Circular Road Premises of Vavuniya Campus. The competition was started at 5:30 AM (GMT 00:00) on 19^th October 2019 and end on 5:30 AM (GMT 00:00) on 20^th October 2019.

Around 11 teams with 32 IEEE student members were participated in the competition and proctored by Mr.T.Kartheeswaran Branch Counselor of the IEEE Student Branch of the Vavuniya Campus. The Rector, and staff members of Department of Physical Science were visited the event and motivated them.

More than 4000 teams were participated from all over the world. There were 223 teams of 17 educational institutions participated from Sri Lanka.  Based on the overall analysis of number of teams, average teams score and average individual score, the branch is in the 8^th rank in Sri Lanka.
