The University Research Committee conduct the awarding ceremony on 20th November 2024, from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm for presented to the winners . The Awardees Dr. Ratnarajah Nagulan, (Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Science , Faculty of Applied Science) in the field of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology and Dr. (Mrs). Sukanyah Devaisy, (Senior Lecturer, Department of Bio-science, Faculty of Applied Science).
The ceremony saw the participation of nearly 60 staff members from the University of Vavuniya, who gathered to support and celebrate the awardees. The Vice Chancellor and the three Deans appreciated the achievements of the award winners and delivered speeches and encouraging all staff members to engage in scholarly work. Both award winners shared motivational speeches, reflecting on their research journeys and experiences, inspiring others to pursue research and innovation.
