- Maintaining of Personal Records
Development and maintenance of personal files of all Staff, upkeep the annual leave records of all staff.
- Maintaining Cadre Details
Maintaining records of approved cadres, new cadre proposals, change of cadres and university cadre planning.
- Recruitment and Employment
Supports the University in administering the recruitments, appointments, confirmations, promotions, grant of increments, accepting resignations, terminations, etc.
- Performance Evaluation
Handles the performance appraisal of all staff members of the university and process the payment of salary and annual increments.
- Benefits Programs
Administer University Health Insurance Scheme, making these programs available to employees and assisting employees claims and obtaining beneficiary coverage. Process the release of UPF, release of pension and release of gratuity payments.
- Training and Development
Assisting to obtain scholarships and to follow staff development programs organized by the MOHE/UGC/ERD/other Universities to all staff members by circulating relevant circulars & information. Accepting and forwarding applications.
- Compliance with state and commission regulations
Ensure the university comply with UGC Act/ Commission and Public Administration Circulars/ Procedures/ Letters/ instructions
- Statutory Bodies
Handle matters to council / Leave and Awards committee / Management committee and placing memos on staff matters and implement decisions and take follow-up actions.
- Disciplinary matters of employees
- Trade Union Matters
- Statistical information
Updating/ Providing information to the University Grants Commission/ Government Departments.
- Any Other Matters assigned related to the employees
