A Business Coaching session for Entrepreneurs and Ideapreneurs was held on February 4, 2025, at the Board Room, IT Centre, University of Vavuniya. The session was conducted by Mr. Kula Sellathurai, Lead Entrepreneurship and Business Coach, President of the Canada-Sri Lanka Business Convention, and CEO of Netwyn Industry.
A total of 30 external entrepreneurs and 15 university undergraduates (ideapreneurs) participated in the session. The coaching was structured through a common coaching method, followed by interactive one-on-one sessions, enabling participants to receive personalized insights on business growth, idea development, and entrepreneurial strategies. The session provided valuable guidance on business expansion, market strategies, and innovation, fostering a strong entrepreneurial mindset among attendees. Participants actively engaged with the trainer, discussing their business challenges and gaining expert advice tailored to their specific needs.
Mr. Sellathurai expressed his willingness to continue training online in the future and showed interest in supporting the establishment of the proposed Marketing Centre at the University. The event, successfully organized by the Business Linkage Cell, University of Vavuniya, provided emerging entrepreneurs with essential guidance and networking opportunities, strengthening their ability to navigate the business landscape and drive sustainable growth.
