The Staff Development Centre of the University of Vavuniya organized a workshop on “Problem-solving & Decision-making in State Higher Education Institutions” on 24^th January 2025, from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM at the Smart Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Applied Science. .Prof. Gamini Senanayake, Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna and Council Member of the University of Vavuniya, served as the resource person for the session. During the session, resource person encouraged participants to read influential books to improve their problem-solving skills. He guided them on how to approach challenges sustainably and emphasized the importance of altering their mindset and attitude toward decision-making. The workshop also offered staff the chance to address their practical concerns and find solutions that could be applied to everyday situations in their professional lives, ultimately enhancing their ability to handle problems and make informed decisions effectively.
