On 28.09.2022 Jaffna Vaazhvaham Team of 35 people including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and students of Vaazhvaham visited to the Support Center for Persons with Disabilities (SCPD), University of Vavuniya.
Prof.T.Mangaleshwarn, Vice-Chancellor gave brief introduction about the objective of establishment of the SCPD. and Ms.P.Godwin Phillip, Director/SCPD presented about the SCPD and current activities of the center. The action plan of SCPD was explained by the V.Supramanium, coordinator, SCPD. Then Both team members discussed related to future collaboration and activities focusing visual disability students and staff.
Two school students from Vavuniya were selected by vaazhvaham for free spectacles and it was issued by vice chancellor, university of Vavuniya.
