The first issue of volume 01 of Vavuniya Journal of Science was ceremonially launched on November 02, 2022, at the silver jubilee celebration of the Faculty of Applied Science, University of the Vavuniya. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Vavuniya, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Dean of the Faculty of Technological Studies, Registrar, and Acting Librarian received the first copy of the Vavuniya Journal of Science.
