Visit of High Commissioner for Canada in Sri Lanka and Maldives to University of Vavuniya

His Excellency Eric Walsh, High Commissioner for Canada in Sri Lanka and Maldives visited the University Vavuniya on 8^th January, 2024 and had a productive discussion with our Vice-Chancellor; Professor Mangaleswaran.

Mr.Patrick Pickering , Second Secretary (Political) and Mr.G.Saahithiyanan , Political Officer from the Canadian High Commission  have also  attended this meeting. On behalf of the university, Deans of Faculties of Applied Science, Business Studies and Technological Studies, Registrar, Bursar, Heads of Departments and Directors of Centers have joined the discussion.

A productive discussion was held focusing possible collaborations with the Government of Canada and the Sri Lankan Diaspora in Canada for the development of the University of Vavuniya.
