A team of the undergraduates of the 2017 Intake of the Faculty of Technological Studies of the University of Vavuniya won two awards of the MindXtra competition which was held on 18th January 2022 to find innovative solutions to solve current issues of the country on account of achieving sustainable development goals. The event was organized by the conducted by Leo Club of University of Moratuwa.
The University of Vavuniya topped (Winner) the event with the Mindxtra participation of all universities.
