The Mozilla campus club of the University of Vavuniya was inaugurated on 19th November 2022 at the Faculty of Technological Studies, University of Vavuniya. The club was presided over by Ms.P.Amritha, Club Councilor of the Mozila Campus Club of the University of Vavuniya in the presence of the Chief Guest of the event, Vice Chancellor of the University of Vavuniya Professor T.Mangaleswaran, Special Guest of the event, Dean of the Faculty of Technological Studies, Mr.S.S.Suthaharan and the Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Mr.V.Senthooran. This event was organized by the Department
of Information and Communication Technology.
The event started with the lighting of the lamp. The Department Head delivered the inaugural address. The Club Counselor of the Mozila welcomed the gathering and Chief Guest. The Chief Guest and Special Guest delivered the special address. The logo for the club and the website was launched by the Dean of the Faculty and IEEE Branch Counselor of the University of Vavuniya, Ms.P.Shorubiga respectively. The chief guest gave a special note on Mozilla campus club activities. After which the office bearers of the club were elected among the 3rd Year ICT students and First Chair of the Mozila Campus Club of the University of Vavuniya Mr.Krishnaprasanth introduced the club members with their roles and responsibilities. The Dean of the Faculty and Head of the Department distributed Mozilla swags to the Chief Guest.
